What is Theatre Arts: Acting Up?

Our Theatre Arts program is a once yearly chance to exponentially improve in a certain aspect of theatre. This year was acting, specifically how to combine acting techniques to become an advanced actor.

The Theatre Arts: Acting Up program taught students how to approach any role. To showcase their skills, students now present Acting Up, a show made up of ten-minute plays — half of which are comedic, half dramatic.

Here at Stand Your Ground, we like to give students opportunities to not only act on stage, but also on camera. We also like to give them a professional keepsake to have forever. This theme song was played at the beginning of Acting Up, to the surprise and delight of the audience.
